Description
Linden Tree is a medium sized deciduous tree with a spreading, rounded crown. The glossy, dark green foliage is heart-shaped and turns a yellow-ish green in Autumn. A native to Europe, it has attractive foliage and pendulous, fragrant, pale yellow flowers in Summer, followed by small winged nutlets. The bark adds further interest with its ridges and furrows. This variety is bee and butterfly attracting. The flowers are also known to be used to make a soothing, fragrant tea.
